My Day in Montgomery, AL
I recently took a trip to Montgomery, AL and it was the most fun I have had in a long time. Since it was a beautiful day outside, I decided to start the day off at the Montgomery Zoo & Mann Wildlife Learning Museum. Their zoo is about 40-acres and is aided by the Montgomery Area Zoolocal Society. Since there were over 700 animals there, there was so much to see that I couldn’t even get around to seeing them all! After the zoo, I decided to feed into my love for history and went to the Civil Rights Memorial Center. It was amazing to see dedications that were meant for the men and women who made the sacrifice of fighting for American civil rights. There were various different monuments that I was able to walk around and look at. I ended the day at Riverfront Park. I went on their riverboat rides and did some boating. Once I was done on the water, I went over to listen to the great music that was playing at their concert. Listening to the music by the riverside with a bunch of great people made for a great close to the evening. If you are ever looking for a fun place to visit, I definitely recommend that you add Montgomery, AL to your list!
